I’ve just attended the jQuery/Roost conference in Chicago. Some of the most useful sessions include the jQuery Foundation future plans, Javascript scope, and the jQuery UI/jQuery Mobile upcoming “merger”.

I’ve just finished styling a WordPress blog for a returning client: Classic Metal Roofs
http://www.classicmetalroofs/wordpress. This blog was updated with the CSS styling details recently applied to the parent website. Additionally, a jQuery contact form to the right of the website was added to provide contact functionality that follows the viewer as the page is scrolled as well as the creation of a new banner image in the header.

WordPress Blog

I’ve just finished a CSS redesign for a new client: Classic Metal Roofs www.classicmetalroofs.com. The styling of this website was updated to give it a more modern appearance while preserving all of the original content and pages. jQuery was used to add a contact form to the right of the website that follows the viewer as the page is scrolled.

Classic Metal Roofs LLC is an exclusive dealer of Classic Metal Roofing Systems, Inc, which has been in business for over 30 years, and is considered the leader in metal roofing. We are in business to provide our customers with a worry-free roofing future. Our caring, consultative approach hinges on our commitment to providing you, the consumer with a product that is long lasting, strong, energy efficient and beautiful enough to be considered “the best roofs under the sun.”

I’ve recently finished a new website for a new client: OnCampus Advertising www.oncampusadvertising.com. Development of this new website involved a completely new design which was constructed using Drupal, PHP, and jQuery. Additionally, a WordPress blog was developed which utilizes the parent website’s styling.

OnCampus Advertising is a youth-focused marketing and media services company that helps brands reach college students on campuses across the US and Canada. Their media services include college newspapers, online, mobile, out-of-home displays, brand ambassadors and more. They have focused on the college market over the past 10 years, developing a deep industry expertise and unparalleled service offering.

I’ve just completed a new website for a new client: Career Coach Clive: www.careercoachclive.com. This website was built using PHP, jQuery, and CSS.

Career Coach Clive works with professionals who have achieved significant financial and career success and are at a turning point. Typically they have realized that more money will not make them happier. Many of them can see that the “Type A” personality that has driven them to be successful is not helping them be happy. They want greater meaning in their work and richer fulfillment in their relationships. They are ready to leave the trajectory of their past career to create a life which matches their unique talents and dreams.

Redesigned www.lucemograph.com using Drupal and jQuery.

Lucemographs are the next evolutionary step in pure photographic abstraction. Light drawings, rendered onto photographic emulsion, whether onto film in the camera or more directly onto photographic paper or ortho film in the darkroom, achieve purity of abstraction and process while remaining entirely within the conventions of the photographic medium and its methods.

I recently finished development of a new client website: Glee Gum www.gleegum.com. Drupal, PHP, and jQuery were utilized to construct this graphically intricate website. Additionally, a customized WordPress blog was built to match the website’s styling.

Verve, Inc. are the manufacturers of Glee Gum.

Verve is an independent, certified woman-owned business, dedicated to linking world communities and creatingenvironmentally and socially responsible products and activities.

Verve’s products include:
Glee Gum – all natural chewing gum
Make Your Own Chewing Gum, Chocolate, & Gummies – Educational Kits for Kids.

In 1992, the concept for Verve was born when they visited an economically depressed chicle-producing community in Northern Guatemala. Up until then, they had never really thought about how chewing gum was made. When they realized its origins, they learned that prior to the synthetic resins, chicle was the basis of the entire industry. Their goal was to support chicle-harvesting by purchasing chicle. With this goal in mind, Verve was born, and with it their first and most popular product, the Make Your Own Chewing Gum Kit.

Today, Verve provides a sustainable source of income for those communities while simultaneously offering fun, educational, and environmentally friendly activities for kids.

Verve’s pioneering Make Your Own Chewing Gum Kit has captivated the imaginations of thousands of children while helping them to learn more about the world around them. They are often used in classrooms where students are studying rainforest ecology, the history of food production, the chemistry of cooking, and the interconnections in our global community.
